It’s time to welcome LynB Designs’ March launch! This month we’re getting a part 2 of Lover of Words: Moira’s Edition, inspired by our favorite Moira (from comedy series Schitt’s Creek, if you are not familiar with it) and her love of big words. Brace yourself for this 9-piece collection full of unique beauties!
As a swatcher, I knew this collection was coming a head of time, and was deeply sad when Catherine O’Hara, the actor who portrayed Moira in the show, passed away. I couldn’t say that I know her work very much, but I love everything I’ve seen her in, whether it’s a comedic or dramatic role. She for sure brought life to Moira Rose. What a time to be alive to witness her talent! To pay tribute to Catherine, Jennalyn created a charity polish that will launch alongside this collection. I don’t have swatches for that but you’re free to check it out on the site. The charity polish is called Rosy Lunettes. It’s a rose leaning purple base with pink to orange to gold shifting shimmer. Six dollars from each bottle sold with be donated to colorectalcancer.org.
Vivacity
Vivacity is a red leaning magenta base with blue to violet shifting shimmer and tiny silver flakies that give it a metallic feel. Shown in 2 coats. This one is so vibrant! I’ve included comparisons with Taken For Garnet (You Rock), S’more Treats (Falloween Pick and Mix), May All Your Wishes Crumb True (LaTannya’s B’Day Custom 2025), Happy Haunting (Falloween Customs), and Morel Support (Prugly Pals Group Custom).

Quixotic
Quixotic is a deep teal to pale grey thermal filled with purple to pink shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Shown in 2 coats. This is one of my favorites from the collection. Something about the greyed out teal just has my heart! I’ve included in the back swatches of some of the other grey thermals, including Amate (Lover of Words: Haunted Edition) and Snow Joking Matter (Winter Customs).

Mellifluous
Mellifluous is a greyed out pastel peachy pink base with blue to purple to pink shifting shimmer and a ghostly silver magnetic pull. Shown in 3 coats. The pointer and ring finger are in cat-eye style, middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized, and the thumb is in velvet style. This is surprisingly another one of my favorite. I especially love it velvetized! It looks super elegant! I have comparison with Old Lady Energy (Only Murders in the Building) in the back.

Sycophant
Sycophant is a sheer indigo base with sky blue to indigo shifting shimmer and pale lavender glowing the dark. Shown in 3 coats. I like how the jelly indigo base peeking through.

Ineffable
Another favorite of mine is Ineffable. This is a linear holo base with pink to orange shifting shimmer and a hazy silver magnetic pull. Shown in 3 coats. The pointer and ring finger are in cat-eye style, middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized, and the thumb is in velvet style. Holo AND magnetic?! Sign me up! This one is absolutely beautiful! Super elegant and sparkly at the same time.

Languid
Languid has to be one of the shiftiest polish ever! It’s a muted blue jelly base with red to orange shifting shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. I’m surprised that I didn’t already own anything similar. The greyed out base gives it a ghostly look that’s so so pretty!

Pernicious
Pernicious is a blackened green base filled with copper to gold shifting shimmer. Shown in 2 coats. This one has a streaky, pearlescent finish, so don’t overwork it so that you can get nice clean lines. I’ve included swatches of some other old shades with similar finish in the back. These include If You Musk (Vintage Fragrance) and Snake Goddess of Belle Isle (Michigan Mysteries Pt.2).

Bedeviled
Bedeviled is a dark red base filled with pink to orange to gold shifting flakies and silver reflective glitters. Shown in 2 coats. With all the glitters and flakies in it, this one dries a bit textured. Two coats of top coat will give you a smooth finish. For comparison, I’ve included swatches of Fuster Cluck (March 2026 HHC) in the back.

Irksome
The last one from the collection is Irksome. This is an acid green base with green to aqua to blue shifting shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. This is such a unique color! You’ll love it if you like pruglies.

Scintilla Revamped
Scintilla Revamped is a mustard yellow base filled with gold to bronze shifting UCC flakies, scattered red to orange shifting shimmer, and scattered holo micro flakies. Shown in 3 coats. I love this color so much! A golden yellow like this is my favorite kind of yellow.
