ILNP came out with two spring collections last Friday, one boutique effect (special effects) and one studio color (cremes). I’m very excited to share my swatches with you! Starting with Playground collection, inspired by playtime we have when we’re young and free. These colors are so vibrant and playful! I hope they’ll bring you joy! Let’s get to the swatches!

Recess
First up, Recess is a primary red jelly with iridescent flakes that shift from pink to orange. Shown in 2 coats. The jelly base looks super juicy! I’m surprise how well it is able to cover the nail line in just two coats. I’ve included my swatches of Secret Santa (Santa’s Workshop), Ariel (Under the Sea), and Melody (Wildflowers) in the back for comparison, in a collage and also worn side by side.

Adrian
Next up, Adrian is a deep azure blue magnetic with icy blue magnetic shimmers. Shown in 2 coats. The pointer and the ring finger are in cat-eye effect; the middle finger and the pinkie are unmagnetized; while the thumb is in black-hole/velvet effect. The base is so rich! It looks like the ocean in cat-eye style. For comparison, I have swatches of Zero Degrees (Winter Wonderland) and Ritual (Coven). Although all three are blue magnetics, the shade is vastly different!

Scribbles
Scribbles is a sky blue base with scattered holographic flakes and blue metallic flakes. Shown in 2 coats, which is impressive considering the fact that it is a light blue. This is such a cute color! I already have an idea for nail art using this one! Stay tuned!

Caterpillar
Caterpillar is a deep green jelly with fine holographic micro flakes. Shown in 3 coats. I will never get enough of a good green! Especially with holo added. For comparison, I’ve included my swatches of Good Fortune (NYE) and Noel (Santa’s Workshop) in the back.

Peek-A-Boo
Peek-A-Boo is a bright yellow jelly with yellow flakie shimmers. Shown in 3 coats. I really like the tiny flakies up close! Yellow polishes are so underrated. Wearing one always makes me happy!

Building Blocks
Last but not least, Building Blocks is a creamy beige base with red, yellow, green, and blue metallic flakes. Shown in 2 coats. I’ll have to admit, I think the base color is not the kind of beige that looks flattering on me. But the multi-colored metallic flakes make up for it. This has to be the cutest color in the whole collection!

About ILNP|Official Website|Amazon (Affiliate Link)
ILNP is a boutique nail polish brand established in 2012 in Las Vegas, USA. They have a huge catalogue of more than hundreds of colors to choose from, each with nicely formulated formula and exquisite packaging. Comparing to the other boutique brand, their price point is relatively lower. These are all some of the reasons why their products have been very popular in the nail polish community.
