🇺🇸 LynB Designs Silly Little Drinks Collection (with B-Seen Top Coat Review)

I’m a bit late sharing this collection, but I can’t not share this cute collection with you. Silly Little Drinks collection from LynB Designs came at us with 9 unique new colors with a variety of fun special effects. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the swatches.

Matcha Latte

Matcha Latte is a creamy pastel green base with blue to indigo shifting shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. This one is slightly patchy, but that’s expected for a pastel like this. It’s a very cute color! I have swatches of Good Scents of Humor (Vintage Fragrance), Igneous is Bliss (You Rock), How A-Paulding… Light (Michigan Mysteries), and Serendipitous (Apricity Sibling) included in the back for comparisons.

Thai Tea

Thai Tea is a warm brown base with pink to gold to green shifting shimmer and orange glow in the dark. Although the official description says orange glow in the dark, in my eye it appears to have a green glow. I’ve included swatches of Run On Scent-ence (Vintage Fragrance) in the back for comparison.

London Fog

London Fog is a buildable sheer indigo base with intense red to pink shifting shimmer and a foggy grey magnetic pull. The pointer and ring finger are magnetized into cat-eye style with 3 coats; the middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized with 2 coats, although I should have done a third; the thumb is magnetized into black-hole style with 3 coats. This one is absolutely magical when magnetized!

Lavender Oat Milk

Lavender Oat Milk is a sheer buildable baby blue base with purple to pink shifting micro flakies and purple solar effect. Shown in 3 coats. This one is more sheer than I expected. You can kind of see the nail line even after 3 coats, but the loaded flakies made up for the sheer base and offer more opacity. My pictures were all taken in door at night, so I used my UV lamp to trigger the solar effect. The purple color will show different shades depending on how much UV it detects; darker when there’s stronger UV. I haven’t worn a solar polish in a while. Watching it changes color really makes me happy. I might love solar even more than thermals!

Strawberry Milk Tea

Strawberry Milk Tea is a pastel neon pink with green to blue to indigo shifting shimmer and blue glow in the dark. Shown in 3 coats. The glow caught on the shade of the pink base and appeared a bit like pastel purple. The formula is a bit patchy, but that’s to be expected for a pastel like this. I’m not sure if I like this shade of pink on my skin tone, but it sure is a cute color! In the back I have comparison with Poiesis (Apricity Siblings).

Lychee Fizz

Lychee Fizz is a warm berry base with blue to purple shifting shimmer and added lavender magnetic pull. Shown in 3 coats. This has a jelly base, so nail line might be slightly visible after magnetizing. The pointer and ring finger are magnetized into cat-eye style; the middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized; the thumb is magnetized into black-hole style. This one might be my favorite of the collection, and I’m not even a big purple girly! It has so much depth! The blue shimmer is so glowy too. I’ve included a few other glowy purples in the back, although they are not magnetics. Those includes Destination Unknown (PPU Jun 2025), Juice Box Hero (Misheard Lyrics Pt.2), Taken for Garnet (You Rock), Existence Is Terrifying (PPU May 2024).

Dragonfruit Boba

Dragonfruit Boba is probably the cutest of the collection! It’s a bright pink to orange thermal with scattered black, green, and pink hex glitters. Shown in 3 coats. All the glitters inside gave such a fun vibe! Since it’s glitter heavy, you might want to use a glitter top coat underneath regular top coat for a smoother finish.

Ube Smoothie

Ube Smoothie is a pink toned lavender neon jelly with pink to orange to purple shifting flakies. Shown in 3 coats. This has one of my favorite LynB formula. The combination of the iridescent flakies and holo flakies are so chaotic in the best way possible. There’s comparison in the back with Hallo-Queen (Falloween) and Rock the Cat Spa (Misheard Lyrics Pt.1).

Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade

Last but not least from the Silly Little Drinks collection, Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade is a blue to clear thermal indoors and purple to pink solar in the sun with pink to green shifting flakies. Shown in 3 coats. I really love this one too! The solar effect is absolutely fascinating!

B-Seen Top Coat

Before ending this post, I want to include a little review of LynB’s new B-Seen Top Coat. B-Seen is a solar friendly topcoat, described as the perfect topcoat for all your solar and glitter needs. A friendly reminder that this is not a quick dry top coat, but from my experience swatching the entire collection using this, it’s dried to touch within a few minutes. That’s what I like about this top coat. Another thing I like is that it is super shiny! I think it would be a great top coat to use if you have some time to wait for it to dry. It doesn’t block UV, but I don’t know if the regular LynB top coat, B-Quick will block UV, so I can’t compare the two for you.
