Hi everyone! Today I will be sharing with you a new-on-here brand. Round of applause to LynB Designs! I was honored enough to join Jenna’s swatch team back in May, to swatch her July launch, the Misheard Lyrics collection. Since then, I have been so excited to share this collection with you, because it’s such a gorgeous collection. However, I have had a travel planned in early July, and all the work I had to get done before that caught up on me. That’s why I’m only sharing this now.
Misheard Lyrics is a 10-piece collection inspired by, well, misheard lyrics! It was pre-launched in this year’s PBE, but only officially made the website last week. So… I guess it’s not too late to see some swatches?
S’cuse Me While I Kiss This Guy
First up, S’cuse Me While I Kiss This Guy is a blackened plum to purple neon thermal filled with gold to green to blue shifting shimmer and holo flakies. Opaque in 3 thin coats. I can’t get enough of the royal vibe of this one!

Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese
Next up, Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese is a cheesy orange base loaded with pink to orange shifting shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats. This color makes me look tan, which is perfect for summer!

Or Should I Just Keep Chasing Penguins
Or Should I Just Keep Chasing Penguins is one of my favorite from the collection. It is described as the palest of blue bases with brilliant yellow to green to teal to blue shifting shimmer and holo flakies. I absolutely loving the combo of shifty shimmer and holo flakies! Disclaimer: It will be hard to keep your eye away from your fingers having this on. Wear at your own risk.

Nice Day for a Cardigan
Another one of my favorites, Nice Day for a Cardigan is an ultra violet base with intense blue to purple shifting shimmer. The shimmer gives it just enough sparkle for a beautiful, mysterious vibe. Obsessed! Worn here in 3 coats; visible nail like is barely there.

I’ll Never Leave Your Pizza Burning
This one is for the lover of flakies! I’ll Never Leave Your Pizza Burning is a red jelly base loaded with pink to yellow to green shifting flakies and a smattering of black micro flakies. It’s looks super flattering to me, and will for sure catch all the eyeballs. Opaque in 2 coats.

She’s Got a Chicken to Ride
Next up we have another flakie. She’s Got a Chicken to Ride is a light teal base with a rainbow of micro shifting flakies and added holo sparkle. All the colors together reminds me of kaleidoscope. So fascinating! Opaque in 3 coats.

She’s a Good Girl, Loves Her Llama
Next, She’s a Good Girl, Loves Her Llama is a green leaning teal jelly base with green to blue to purple shifting shimmer and green to blue shifting flakies, creating maximum amount of shiftiness. Opaque in 3 coats.

Cool Whip in My Hair
After a few vibrant colors, a palette cleanser. Cool Whip in My Hair is a white super shifter with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer. For me, it’s a great everyday color but definitely not boring. Worn here in 3 coats; will show a little visible nail line.

Rock the Cat Spa
Second to the last one is another one of my favorite. Rock the Cat Spa is a pinky purple flakie bomb with purple to pink to gold shifting flakies, pink to orange to yellow shifting shimmer, and added holo flakies. It’s so sparkly and beautiful! A great color for everyday wear, or for any special occasions really. Shown in 3 coats with a tiny bit visible nail line.

Lemon on a Pear
The last one is my favorite, Lemon on a Pear is a juicy pear colored holo base with pink to orange to green micro flakie shifting shimmer. I think it is very flattering, cute, and lively. It being a little see-through after 3 coats reminds me of mojito. Such a refreshing summer color!
