It’s finally started to feel like winter here in Taiwan. The weather couldn’t be more perfect to welcome the new winter creme collection from ILNP. Meet Snow Day, a collection featuring 6 beautifully creamy cremes. I know creme collection may not seem as fun and dazzling as a special effect collection, but personally, I find them very wearable! Let’s get to the swatches!

Pullover
Pullover is a mid-tone muted denim, shown in 2 coats. It’s almost a one-coater! This is my favorite of the collection. Such a calming color! I’ve put my swatches of Low Rise (Rewind) and Jumping Puddle (After The Rain) in the back. Although they’re not cremes, but the base color is in the same muted denim family.

Mittens
Mittens is a medium tone muted rosy mauve, shown in 2 coats. Same buttery formula, almost a one-coater. It’s a very elegant color, but I feel like the tone clashes with my skin tone a little bit. Also worth mentioning is that this color will look different deepening on the lighting. My pictures are taken under sunlight bulb, but the color will be more warm leaning when under warm light. For comparison, I’ve included in the back my swatches of Twirl and Butterflies (both from Lovestruck).

Under Covers
Under Covers is described as an ivory white, while I would say it’s more of a warm pale beige. Shown in 2 coats. I’m very impressed by the opacity of this color. I originally expected it to be opaque in 3 coats, but the formula is very easy to work with. I’m able to get full opacity without any patchiness in 2. For comparison, I’ve included my swatches of Soulmate (Love Story). They are very very similar, so I swatched them side by side to show the nuances. Under Cover is warmer while Soulmate has a delicate pink tint.

Flurry
Flurry is a pastel baby blue, shown in 2 coats. It has the same impressive opacity and amazing formula. It dries slightly darker than in the bottle. In the back, I have swatches of Rainshower (Cloud Nine) and Up Above (Fairy Forest) included for comparison.

Woven
Woven is a tawny brown that looks like chai latte. Shown in 2 coats. It’s a beautiful day-to-day color! I’ve included my swatches of Mushroom (Campground) in the back, including a side-by-side swatch. Woven has a warmer hue than Mushroom.

Cloudy Days
Last but not least, Cloudy Days is a mid-tone grey, shown in 2 coats. This one also dries slightly darker.

ILNP is a boutique nail polish brand established in 2012 in Las Vegas, USA. They have a huge catalogue of more than hundreds of colors to choose from, each with nicely formulated formula and exquisite packaging. Comparing to the other boutique brand, their price point is relatively lower.
