Also coming last Friday from Lemming Lacquer, are two standalone polishes that are tied back to Lemming’s first ever collection, Curiosities From Wonderland. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Lemming Lacquer, that’s why Cassie wants to pay tribute to their first collection. Curiosities From Wonderland is a collection inspired by Alice in Wonderland from a lot of different medias including books, movies, and musics. Let’s get into the swatches!
I Rock And Rule The Wonderland
First up, I Rock And Rule the Wonderland is a dark red jelly base with black to red multichrome flakes, iridescent rainbow microshards, and gold holographic microsparks. Shown in 2 coats. This polish is inspired by the lyrics in the song Wonderland by Caravan Palace. Cassie is a big fan of the story of Alice in Wonderland, that’s why she chose it as the inspiration of Lemming’s first collection. I’ve included again comparisons with some similar shades, including Charles (Dead Boy Detectives), Kady the Warrior (The Magicians), and The Music, The Lights, The Beautiful Flesh (January 2025 PPU). I Rock leans the most toward berry tone, while the others are more of a warm red.

Life Is Short; You’re Capable
Life Is Short; You’re Capable is a dark blue jelly packed with orange aurora shimmer, holographic microflakes, and gold holographic microsparks. Inspired by the lyrics in the song “What You Waiting For?” by Gwen Stefani. Shown in 2 coats. In early 2015, Cassie had everything she needed to launch Lemming Lacquer, but was paralyzed with fear and anxiety and unable to make a decision on WHEN she would release her first collection. She listened to “What You Waiting For?” a lot because she loves the Alice in Wonderland music video, so she used it to get into the Alice mood for her first collection. And that decision has lead Lemming Lacquer to the 10 year milestone this year! In the back, I’ve included comparison with Under The Electron Microscope (March 2025 PPU).
