As the year is coming to an end, ILNP is bringing their last collection of the year, the Opening Night collection. Inspired by night at the theatre, Opening Night collection features 5 new jelly formula with iridescent flakes, and a topper to elevate the look. Let’s get right to the swatches!
Spotlight
Starting up with my personal favorite this time, Spotlight is a clear topper with teal, pink, and silver iridescent flakes, and added holographic sparkles. Shown here as 1 coat over a sheer beige. Although I don’t use topper very often, I like this one very much! The holo flakes in it make it extra sparkly!

Until Midnight
Until Midnight is a deep black jelly base, scattered with iridescent flakes that dance between icy blue, teal, and silver. Opaque in 3 coats, although if you have shorter nails or nail bed, 2 coats might be sufficient. It is really surprising how the flakes are able to shine through even though the base color is pretty dark.

Curtain Call
Curtain Call is a magenta jelly base with iridescent flakes that shifting through teal, blue, and silver. Opaque in 3 coats. The is the most vibrant color in the collection. It truly nailed the glamorous vibe of an opening night.

Take A Bow
Next up, Take A Bow is a deep teal jelly base with frosty blue and teal flakes. Shown in 2 coats. You can add a third for a deeper tone, but I like it this way. It reminds me of the ocean at night, when the surface of the water reflects the moonlight.

Late Night
Late Night is a deep, midnight navy jelly base, with icy blue and teal flakes. Opaque in 3 coats. This color is a perfect NYE shade!

Headliner
Last but not least, Headliner is a rich indigo backdrop with flickers of blue-to-silver iridescent flakes. Opaque in 2 coats. Such a beautiful jewel tone purple!

The Opening Night collection is already available on ILNP’s website. As always, all the new colors will have a $1 discount on the first week of launch, all the way through 12/20. What do you think of this collection? I have to admit that I am a teeny tiny bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, they are all gorgeous colors. I just wish ILNP could have added just a splash of holo flakes in those jellies. It would have made them more unique and sparkly. But I guess you can always top them off with Spotlight. And if you are not as big of a holo fanatic as I am, this collection might just be for you!
