The Cat Who Saved Books｜DRK Nails
First we have The Cat Who Saved Books. This is a sibling of Hooked on a Feline, an exclusive of May 2024 PPU. It has a very strong magnet pigment that shifts from yellow to orange to red to cerise pink mixed with 3 different blue sparkling shimmer. The pointer and ring finger are magnetized into a cat-eye look, opaque in 3 coats. The thumb is magnetized into a velvet look, opaque in 3 coats. The middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized, opaqued in 2 coats. Katia the maker is a pet rescuer, and this polish will raise funds to save a cat named Flora who has FIP (Feline Infections Peritonitis). Katia has always been making stellar magnetics. The contrast of the magnetic shimmer and the base color is so striking and stunning!

Next up, from LynB Designs, we have yet another magnetic polish, inspired by Cheesy romance novels. Drawn to You is a navy blue jelly base with blue to purple to pink magnetic pull and pink to green shifting microflakie shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. Again, the pointer and ring finger are magnetized into a cat-eye look; the thumb is magnetized into a velvet look; the middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized. This magnetic is so interesting and unique! The purple magnetic shimmer is so glowy!

Are You Going to Marry Me or Not?｜Wildflower Lacquer
Lastly, from Wildflower Lacquer, inspired by Romancing Mister Bridgerton, Are You Going to Marry Me or Not? is a deep sapphire blue base packed with green to blue to purple shifting microflake shimmer. This is almost a 1 coater, my picture shows it in 2 coats. Those microflakes really make the polish look like sapphire on the nails.

Polish Pickup is the largest monthly collaboration for indie nail polishes. Based in the US, the shop opens first Friday to the following Monday of every month for pre-order, featuring mostly indie nail polishes, as well as some indie jewelries, lifestyle items, wax melts, nail cares, bath and body cares, etc. The monthly shop will have different theme each month, submitted and voted by Facebook group members three month ahead, based on which all the brands will create a shop exclusive item.
