How is it September already? The Halloween celebration, aka PPUWeen, is coming again to September Polish Pickup. Every September, makers will put out offerings inspired by all things Halloween. I have offerings from 4 brands to share with you. Let’s get right to the swatches!
The Hash-Slinging Slasher｜Beaux Rêves Lacquer
First up, from Beaux Rêves Lacquer, The Hash-Slinging Slasher is a murky green base with a strong navy-violet shift, green reflective glitter and chameleon crystal flakes. This is inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants episode ‘Graveyard Shift’. Shown here in 3 coats. This one has a sheer base, but the grundy color is so stunningly prugly!

Autumn Queen｜Lemming Lacquer
Next up, from Lemming Lacquer, we have Autumn Queen. This is a murky green jelly with orange to red aurora shimmer. Shown here in 3 coats. I absolutely love a green with contrasting shimmer! This is so shifty and stunning. Plus, how can I say no to a poopy green!

Ahead of the Carve｜LynB Designs
LynB Designs is bringing us Ahead of the Carve is a pale pink to purple solar polish with a peachy orange glowy shimmer and a rainbow of shifting flakies. Shown here in 3 coats. This is inspired by the custom of carving turnips to ward off evil spirits. This is so very soft and elegant!

Crapemyrtle.000｜PI Colors
Last but not least, PI Colors is bringing us Crapemyrtle.000. It’s is a deep plum purple base, with color shifting green to blue shimmer, holo blue glitter and deep blue colorshifting flakies. Shown in 3 coats. I love how the glitters added some dimensions to the polish.

Polish Pickup is the largest monthly collaboration for indie nail polishes. Based in the US, the shop opens first Friday to the following Monday of every month for pre-order, featuring mostly indie nail polishes, as well as some indie jewelries, lifestyle items, wax melts, nail cares, bath and body cares, etc. The monthly shop will have different theme each month, submitted and voted by Facebook group members three month ahead, based on which all the brands will create a shop exclusive item.
