This October, the makers in Polish Pickup are taking us back to the 90s, especially the grungy part of the 90s. 90’s Grunge features numerous beauties inspired by your favorite things from the era. I have 3 polishes from 3 amazing makers to share with you. Let get started, shall we?

All I Really Want|Lemming Lacquer
From the maker Cassie, “All I Really Want is the ultimate nail polish for all you ’90s grunge aficionados out there. This nail lacquer boasts a rebellious blue-violet jelly base that’s as moody as your favorite ’90s rock ballads, and its brilliant sapphire to violet shimmer adds an edgy twist that’s perfect for your alternative style. Embrace the grunge spirit and rock your nails with this mesmerizing shade that’s as iconic as the decade itself. Inspired by my favorite blue Wet n Wild nail polish. It was the first nail polish that was completely mine and I wore it all the time as a child. The name is taken from the song of the same name by Alanis Morissette.” Words can’t describe how stunning this polish is! The blue shimmer in this one really glows! You wouldn’t want to miss this if you love blues. Please note that this might stain, so a good base coat is recommended to go with it. Shown here in 3 coats.

Does It Get Eddie Vedder?|LynB Designs
Inspired by Jennalyn’s love of Weird Al parodies, Pearl Jam, and sweaters, Does It Get Eddie Vedder? is a cool grey buildable crelly base with intense blue to purple shifting shimmer. Shown here in 3 coats. I didn’t notice much of the visible nail line after 3 coats. This to me lives up to the grunge theme so much. The sheer grey base paring with those ghostly shimmer is simply perfect! As light as this color may seem, it may stain so a good base coat is recommended.

Last Kiss|Wildflower Lacquer
Inspired by 90’s vampy lipstick, but the name was inspired by the song Last Kiss by Pearl Jam, Last Kiss is blackened red leaning maroon base with purple to pink to orange shifting shimmer. Shown here in 2 coats. Oh how I love a vampy red! I didn’t swatch it with matte top coat but I can tell you that it’s absolutely gorgeous matte. Please note that this is very pigmented, so it will likely stain. A good base coat is recommended.
