🇺🇸 ILNP Thorns Collection

中文版看這邊!

Back in late September, alongside the Twisted collection, ILNP also brought us Thorns collection, featuring 4 vampy cremes that will prepare you for the upcoming spooky season. It’s been their usually practice for the past year or so to launch a creme collection alongside a special effect one as suppose to launching it alone. I think is a smart move. As much as I love creme polishes, special effect polishes do usually bring more excitement. Anyway, if you want to see swatches of the Twisted collection, you can find my post here. Let’s get to the Thorns collection!

Dahlia

First up, Dahlia is a blackened maroon jelly, shown in 3 coats. A dark red like this is certainly a fall staple.

Midnight Ink

Midnight Ink is a dark navy blue crelly that can be build to opacity in two coats, as shown in my swatches.

Nightshade

Nightshade is a darkened eggplant crelly that can be build to opacity in two coats, as shown in my swatches.

Ivy

Ivy is a deep green jelly, shown in 2 coats. I feel like this would be a great color for the holiday season too! I can see myself wearing or using this in nail arts a lot in the winter.

This is a very short post; I don’t have much to add to describe the colors, as I’ll just be repeating myself a lot. These colors are solid with the usual great quality. They might not be unique in any way, but if you’re looking for something simple, these are all great candidates. Thorns collection is already available to order on ILNP’s website. It seems that this time the discount period is shorter, and has already ended. So there’s no need to order them now; you can shop at the most comfortable pace. If you prefer ordering from Amazon, consider shopping through my affiliate link here. This lets me know that you like my post. It would mean a great deal to me, helping me to keep writing and creating contents. Your support is greatly appreciated! Before I end this post, I’ve seen a few people being curious to see the nuance between these dark shades. So here’s a picture of all of them side by side, including Ink from Arcade collection on the thumb.

ILNP is a boutique nail polish brand established in 2012 in Las Vegas, USA. They have a huge catalogue of more than hundreds of colors to choose from, each with nicely formulated formula and exquisite packaging. Comparing to the other boutique brand, their price point is relatively lower. These are all some of the reasons why their products have been very popular in the nail polish community.
