How’s the weather where you live? Here in Taipei, it is still very hot and humid. However, I will never say no to autumn colors! Fall collections have always been my favorite. And I’m so happy to swatch the new ILNP fall collection. After The Rain collection features 6 beautiful autumnal flakies inspired by the rainy season. So grab your umbrella, let’s go dancing in the rain!

Drizzle
First up, Drizzle is a deep midnight blue jelly with shimmering flakes shift from orange to green, and subtle holographic sparkle. Shown in 2 coats. The formula is very creamy. Despite the dark base color, those flakes shine through very nicely. In the back, I’ve included swatches of Late Night (Opening Night), Ritual (Coven), and Take A Bow (Opening Night). Swipe to see them if you’re interested.

Jumping Puddles
Another blue from the collection is Jumping Puddles. This is a steel blue jelly filled with glimmering flakes that shift from orange to green, touched with subtle holographic sparkle. Shown in 2 coats. I like how the blue base is slightly greyed out, making it a perfect autumn blue.

Dark Roast
Dark Roast is a cool cocoa brown with shifting flakes that shift from orange to green and subtle holographic sparkle. Shown in 3 coats. This color looks delicious! It reminds me of chocolate fudge cake with almond. In case you are wondering, I put my swatches of Chocolate (Campground) in the back for comparison. Apart from the added flakies, Dark Roast is slightly cooler and greyed out than Chocolate.

Ginger Snap
Ginger Snap is a gingerbread brown jelly that builds easily, infused with shimmering flakes that shift from orange to green, scattered with subtle holographic shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. The first coat is pretty sheer, but it builds up nicely. I would gladly wear it in 2 coats too with a little sheerness. This is quite a unique color!

Raincoat
This one is my absolute favorite from the collection. Raincoat is a rich and rustic orange jelly that builds easily, infused with color-shifting flakes that shift from orange to green, and scattered with holographic shimmers. Shown in 2 coats. Fall oranges will always have my heart. It reminds me of Hidden Path (Vineyard), so I included my swatch in the back. Color-wise, Hidden Path is more red and vibrant, while Raincoat is more rustic.

Storm Watch
Last but not least, Storm Watch is a cool-toned light grey jelly, scatters with shifting shimmer in hues of orange, gold, and green with a subtle dusting of holographic flakes. Shown in 3 coats. To be honest, grey is not a color I usually gravitate toward. But this might change as I really enjoy the flakies in this. The flakies elevate the color a lot so it doesn’t feel ordinary anymore.

About ILNP|Official Website
ILNP is a boutique nail polish brand established in 2012 in Las Vegas, USA. They have a huge catalogue of more than hundreds of colors to choose from, each with nicely formulated formula and exquisite packaging. Comparing to the other boutique brand, their price point is relatively lower. These are all some of the reasons why their products have been very popular in the nail polish community.
