Summer is almost here! So I decided to swatch a neon collection I’ve got last year to get myself into the mood. This is Noble Neons collection that came out last summer from Starrily, featuring 6 bright neon cremes that’s perfect for summer. It’s the first time I’ve ever tried Starrily, and I’m happy to share my first impression with you all. Let’s get right to it!

Helium (He)
First up, Helium (He) is a vivid bright pink neon nail polish, shown in 3 coats. In the bottle, it is a bright pink, but on me it looks much warmer because of my warm skin tone. Neon pink is such a staple for summer!

Neon (Ne)
Neon (Ne) is a vivid bright orange neon nail polish, shown in 3 coats. This is my favorite of the collection. I know orange is not a color for everyone, but I feel like neon orange will look good on everyone.

Radon (Rn)
Radon (Rn) is a vivid bright yellow neon nail polish, shown in 3 coats. I want to like this, and I do like the color, but the formula is a little underwhelming. It is still a bit patchy after 3 coats; you would need to “float” the brush instead of pressing it down too much to avoid patchiness. However, this is a very common issue with neon yellows, so it doesn’t mean that the general quality of Starrily polishes are bad.

Krypton (Kr)
Krypton (Kr) is a vivid bright neon green nail polish, shown in 3 coats. I’ve been wanting to get a neon green every summer, but never made up my mind about which brand to get it from. So I’m very happy to have this in my collection!

Xenon (Xe)
Xenon (Xe) is a vivid bright neon blue jelly nail polish, shown in 2 coats. The jelly formula gives it a juicy look. I only did two coats because I want to keep the translucent look. You can do 3 if you have longer nails or if you like it to be more opaque. For me, this does’t look much like a neon, but it doesn’t glow under black lights.

Argon (Ar)
Argon (Ar) is a vivid bright neon purple nail polish, shown in 2 coats. I love this one a lot too! It’s very rich and creamy. Unfortunately, I can’t find it on the site anymore. I’m not sure if they will bring it back.

The whole collection dries into a satin finish. A quick-dry top coat is recommended as the formula of neons tend not to harden as it dries. Even if I wanted to make it matte after, I would still use a quick-dry top coat first. This is my first experience with Starrily Nail Polish, and I think the quality is pretty up to standard. Neon is a somewhat special formula, so it’s hard to judge the brand from its neon polishes. But the formula of these are above average of all the neons I’ve tried. Here’s a nail art I made using this collection. I hope it brings you joy!
That’s it for my swatches today. Hope you like them! Do you like neons? What’s your go-to neons? I have Vice neons from Cirque Colors from a few years ago.
