Sorry for missing a lot of LynB Designs’ launch since last September. I haven’t had enough time or energy to put the info together, but I’m hoping to get back into things. LynB Designs’ April launch is right around the corner, I have 4 singles from the launch to share with you. That includes 2 charity polishes that will benefit different causes. Let’s take a look at the swatches!
Bee In My Bonnet
First up we have the polish of the month. Bee in My Bonnet is pastel pink base with pink to orange to gold shifting shimmer, holo micro flakies, and gold reflective glitter. Shown in 3 coats. Due to the reflective glitters, this one will dry a bit textured. I did used a glitter top coat to smooth out the surface before my regular top coat. I’ve put together a comparison collage including Enigmatic Glow (Aura Collection), Hallo-Queen (Falloween Collection), Rock the Cat Spa (Misheard Lyrics Collection Pt.1), and Sweet As Candy (Pick and Mix Collection). Morel Support
Next up we have a custom polish with Prugly Polish Pals Facebook group. Morel Support is a warm rusty red base with periwinkle to purple to pink shifting shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. This one is a lot more shimmery and glowy than I expected! The shifting shimmer is so beautiful! As always, comparison collage is attached in the back, including Eerie-Sistible (Swampy Shimmers Collection), Slumber Party Shag (PPU March 24′), and That’s What Friend’s Are Spore (Swampy Shimmers).

Just Mindself
First charity polish this month is Just Mindself, a purple base with green to aqua to blue shifting shimmer, holo micro flakies, and white-blue glow in the dark. Shown in 3 coats. This is a Brain Tumor Awareness charity polish; $6 from each polish sold will be split between two event/organizations to benefit the cause. One is the Angels Among Us charity event that will benefit Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke (brain tumor research and patient care), the other is Idrees Danish Memorial Scholarship (scholarship program for students who lost their parents to cancer). Learn more about these organizations by clicking the link above! Something worth mentioning is that the glow-in-the-dark pigments tend to settle to the bottom of the bottle easily. It is recommended to give it a good shake before applying to maximize the glow effect. Comparisons in the back includes Snowhere Else I’d Rather Be (Winter Customs Collection), and Treat Yourself (PPU July 23′).

It’s Going Tibia Okay
Last but not least, we have another charity polish this month. It’s Going Tibia Okay is a deep brown base with blue to purple to pink shifting magnetic shimmer. Shown in 2 coats. $6 from each polish will be donated to Gift of Life to benefit bone cancer research. As always, pointer and ring fingers are in cat-eye style, middle finger and pinkie are unmagnetized, and the thumb is in velvet style. This one is a surprise favorite of mine. I had thought that the magnetic effect wouldn’t be very pronounced, but I was wrong. The shift is very pretty even in velvet style!

These new colors will be available next Friday on April 11th. In addition, there will also be a 9-piece new collection, Soil Mates, launching together. I didn’t have time to swatch the new collection, but you can check out swatches from other amazing swatchers in LynB Loves (LynB Designs Facebook group).

LynB Designs is an indie nail polish brand from the US. Established in 2012 by maker Jennalyn, from Michigan. They have a lot of special effect nail polishes, and will occasionally coming out with shifty eyeshadows. They have also made wax melts before.
