When talking about classic Halloween movies, we can’t not mention Beetlejuice. The first movie came out almost 40 years ago, and just recently we got a sequel. Whether you’ve seen the movie or not, you will definitely enjoy this Halloween collection from Lemming Lacquer, inspired by Beetlejuice. It’s an 8-piece collection that will launch in mid September. Cue the swatches!

I Will Go Insane and I Will Take You With Me

First up, I Will Go Insane and I Will Take You With Me is a deep red jelly packed with black-to-red micro flakes. Opaque in 3 coats. Those micro flakes is really sparkly! And the color is very Halloween appropriate. I’ve included comparisons with Krampus 2023 (Better Watch Out 2023) and Transylvanian Concubine (Halloween 2023). They have similar vibes but are all unique in their own ways.

I’m the Ghost With the Most, Babe

I’m the Ghost With the Most, Babe is an acid green jelly base packed with multi-chrome flakes that shift from purple to pink to copper to gold. Shown in 3 coats. This is my absolute favorite from the collection! If you’re a prugly polish lover like me, you will love this one too.

It’s Showtime

It’s Showtime is an indigo jelly nail polish, shimmering with a shift from gold to green to blue. Opaque in 3 coats. The color is so rich!

Miss Argentina

Miss Argentina is a pinky-red jelly with a shimmer that shifts from teal to blue to violet, and pink holographic micro glitter. Opaque in 3 coats. This is another one of my favorite! It’s so fiery and bright! This pink is pretty flattering against Asian skin tone.

Magician’s Assistant

Magician’s Assistant is a turquoise jelly with shimmer that shifts from pink to purple to copper to gold and fuchsia holographic sparks. Opaque in 2 coats. Those holographic hex glitters gave this color a unique touch.

Never Trust the Living

Never Trust the Living is a reddened light purple jelly with shimmer shifting from gold to green to blue. Opaque in 2 coats. The base is buildable, which means you can build it up to the color opacity you like. 3 coats gives a richer look, while 2 gives a brighter color. I like it both way. This reminds me of some other old purples, so I’ve added their swatch comparisons in the back, including Even When He’s Dead Sparkle Can’t Stop Shining (April 2024 Duo) and the most recent PPU from September 2024, Going Guising. To me, this one and Going Guising are quite similar, but the latter is darker, more vibrant, and has a larger particle shimmer; while this one contains delicate shimmer.

Shake, Shake, Shake, Senora

Shake, Shake, Shake, Senora is a bright red jelly with copper to gold shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats. Another favorite of mine from this collection! Just look how bright any glowy it is! It is just so juicy.

Lost Souls Room

Finally, Lost Souls Room is a dusty turquoise crelly with a mix of microflakes that shift from teal to blue to violet, lime to gold iridescent shards, flakes that morph from gold to lime to green to blue, and black microflakes. Opaque in 2 coats. The mixture of different color flakes is so unique.
