Coming next week from LynB Designs, Aura is a beautiful collection inspired by aura quartz, featuring 5 super shifty and dreamy beauties, all with scattered holographic flakes. This is one of the 3 mini collections that are launching this month, all of them are inspired by things Jennalyn loves. Although I’m only swatching this collection, I also throw in the throwback of the month in this article. Let’s get right to it!

Mystic Haze
First up, Mystic Haze is a pale blue base with pink to gold to green to blue shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Opaque in 3 coats. This polish screams fairy wings to me! I pulled out swatches of Sassenach from July 2023 Hella Handmade Creations and put them in the back, because I though they were similar. They definitely have similar shifts, but Sassenach is more green leaning, while Mystic Haze appears more blue. Sassenach is also more of a linear holo with holo shimmer while Mystic Haze contains holo flakies.

Enchanted Aura
Next up is my favorite, Enchanted Aura. It is a pale teal with pink to red to orange shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Opaque in 3 coats. Something about pink shimmers in green base just speaks to me. It’s so soft but lively at the same time! I’ve included some comparisons in the back, including Sassenach, Worm and Fuzzy (Pick n Mix collection), and Kitten Purrs (Comfort Colors collection). None of them are dupes though!

Cosmic Whisper
Cosmic Whisper is described as a pale warm purple base with green to blue to purple shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Shown in 3 coats. This one is on the sheerer side, but with the intense shimmer, nail line is barely visible. I love how ethereal this one looks. In the back I have comparisons with some other shimmery purples, including You’re Such a Sweet Tart (Pick n Mix collection), Capricorn (monthly Zodiac collection), and Better Lake Than Never (PBE 2023 Doorbuster). They are all very different, and honestly I love this one the most.

Enigmatic Glow
Enigmatic Glow on the other hand is pretty opaque. It is a pale magenta base with pinky/red to orange to yellow shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Opaque in 3 coats. The intense glow of the shimmer makes me look tan, and I’m not mad about it!

Luminous Dream
The last one of the Aura collection is Luminous Dream, a pale peach base with orange to gold to green shifting shimmer and added holo flakies. Opaque in 3 coats, but it looks beautiful with sheerness if you do only 2. I would totally wear it in 2 coats.

Purple Polish of Sex 2.0
Last but not least, Throwback of the month is Purple Polish of Sex 2.0. It is described as a deep purple base with glowy purple shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats for me, but 2 coats may be sufficient for shorter nails. I an not a huge fan of streaky polishes, but this one has got that very fine streaks that I actually like.

The Aura collection, as well as the Throwback of the month, will be launching at on LynB’s website on July 26th. As always, everything will be half off with code “JULY” from the 26th to the 30th. All of these colors actually made their debut at Polish and Beauty Expo last weekend. If you have already gotten some, I’d love to see your mani in the comment!
