What a month March is! So many amazing new collections coming our way. In this post, I have swatches of Wildflower Lacquer’s March store launch to share with you, including Mermaids of the Zodiac Vol.2, Taylor’s Birthday Duo, and two limited edition polishes. Here we go!

Libra
Starting off with the other half of Mermaids of the Zodiac, Libra is a bright magenta linear holo with scattered pink to gold microflake shimmer. Opaque in 2 coats. I have nothing to add except that it glows! Comparisons with some past shades are in the back, including Mesmeric (Tangled Tinsel Mystery), Ruby (May 23′ LE), and The Polished Hippy (Mar 23′ LE). The last two leans more red than pink, and the formulas of them are all somewhat different.

Cancer
Next up, Cancer is a bright aqua base with coppery red to gold to green shifting microflake shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. This is definitely the shiftiest one of the bunch! It’s giving me the same feel as Capricorn from Vol.1. I’ve included comparison with Purrfect Companion (Jan 24′ LE) and With Brave Wings She Flies (20′ Alzheimer Awareness).

Leo
Leo is a deep orange base with pink to gold shifting shimmer. This is a sibling to Carnival Sass as it shares the same base color, and is actually an orange version of Perhaps a Christmas Gourd. Please note that this may stain. I wish I had Carnival Sass to compare. I regret passing up on it, but having this one in my collection does scratch my itch.

Sagittarius
Sagittarius is a purple linear holo with pink to gold shifting microflake shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats. The holo is really sparkly! I’ve included comparisons with Somebody to Love (Dec 2023 Rewind), Paws Over People (Mar 2024 PPU), and Pawsitively Fabulous (2022 Charity Auction Polish) in the back. Scorpio
Scorpio is a deep blue base with black to red shifting shimmer, and scattered coppery red to gold shifting microflake shimmer. Opaque in 2 coats. Beautiful vampy color! For comparison, I’ve included Dark Beauty (Jan 2024 PPU). As much as I thought they were similar, the color shift is completely different.

Virgo
Now comes to my favorite of the collection, Virgo. This is a dusty olive green linear holo with red to gold to green shifting shimmer, which is the same shimmer as in Stay Golden collection. It looks a bit sheer on the first coat, but became perfectly opaque in 2 coats. Don’t you just love a prugly color like this? It’s so unique! I have nothing like this in my collection.

Eternal Sass
Polish for Paws of the month is Eternal Sass. This is a deep blue with teal undertones base and pink to gold shifting shimmer. It is a blue version of Perhaps a Christmas Gourd. This may stain so a good base coat is recommended. With every bottle sold, $6 will be donated to the Cozy Cat Cottage in Ohio.

Banana Butt
Banana Butt is a random LE Taylor created because of her frequent use of the funny banana sticker on FB. This is a yellow gold base with pink to gold microflake shimmer. Shown in 3 coats. This also might stain. I know orange/yellow polish is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure is mine! And let’s be honest, the name itself is worth buying for.

The last two colors I’ll share is the Indiversary + Birthday Duo. As some of you may know, Wildflower Lacquer just turned 7 on 2/14, and Taylor turned 36 on 3/2. Therefore, She wants to celebrate with a duo that describes herself.
Anti-Social Butterfly
First one of the duo is Anti-Social Butterfly, a soft white base with red to gold to green shifting shimmer, which is also the shimmers from Stay Golden collection. Shown in 3 coats. I pulled out some white shimmer shades to compare, including Carpe Noctem (Sep 21′ PPU), Reverie (Cheers to 5 Years), and Lima Bean (Sep 23′ Limited Edition). It has the same soft, milky vibe as Reverie, but this one is more blue leaning in comparison.

Happiness is Hurkle-Durkling
The other one of the duo is Happiness is Hurkle-Durkling. This is a very light smoky blue base with pink to gold shifting shimmer, and holographic sparkle. It has the same shimmer as Butterbean. Opaque in 2 coats. Hurkle-Durkle is a Scots word, meaning to lie in bed after it is time to get up and get going. I don’t know about you, but hurkle-durling is my favorite activity. Fun fact, we actually have a word in Mandarin for the same thing! It’s called 賴床 (laì-chuáng). So I suppose the love is universal. Anyway, it’s a color you wouldn’t want to miss.
