Coming tomorrow October 4th, ILNP Coven collection is a highly anticipated collection. Every year they came out with fabulous Halloween collection, that’s why a lot of people look forward to this one. Coven collection features 3 magnetics and 3 shifty beauties. Here are my swatches.

  1. Sabrina
  2. Ritual
  3. Moonlit
  4. Bewitched
  5. Darkest Hour
  6. Pyro

Sabrina

First up, Sabrina is described as a rich, vampy red base with color-shifting red sparkles. I can see the microflakes shifts from red to orange to gold. Opaque in 2 coats. A vampy red like this has to be a staple for Halloween season. If you haven’t already have one in your collection, Sabrina is definitely worth considering with its high quality formula. I’ve included comparison with Ruby from NYE collection. They both have shifty microflakes but Sabrina is more vampy while Ruby is more vibrant.

Ritual

Ritual is a teal base that looks nearly black when magnetized, with vivid teal magnetic shimmer and holographic flakes. Shown in 2 coats, but if you want to wear it unmagnetized, one coat is sufficient. As always, my pointer and ring finger are magnetized into a cat-eye look; the middle finger and pinkie are un magnetized; and the thumb is magnetized into a velvet look. This one looks absolutely mesmerizing with the velvet look! One of my top picks from this collection. For comparison, I’ve included Zero Degree from Winter Wonderland collection and Deep Space from Cosmos collection. Ritual looks darker and leans a little more teal while Zero Degree is more of a vibrant blue.

Moonlit

Moonlit is a charcoal base with silver magnetic sparkles and holographic flecks. Opaque in 3 coats. My pointer and ring finger are magnetized into a cat-eye look; the middle finger and pinkie are un magnetized; and the thumb is magnetized into a velvet look. ILNP magnetic formula is honestly amazing! I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t. This one is super easy to work with, and you can layer a jelly on top to give it a different color.

Bewitched

Next up, Bewitched is a blackened eggplant base, glimmering with pink to gold to green shimmers. Opaque in 2 coats. Comparing to the other shades, Bewitched may seem like an ordinary shade. But I like this one a lot more than I thought I would! The shimmers peaking through the dark purple base giving out such a mysterious vibe.

Darkest Hour

The last magnetic of the collection is Darkest Hour. It is a rich black base with vivid blue sparkle , silver magnetic shimmer, and holographic flakes. Opaque in 2 coats. This one has so much depth! I’m obsessed with the blue flakies! Combining with those holo flakies, it looks like starry night sky on the nails.

Pyro

Last but not least, Pyro is a dark grey-blue base with fiery orange shimmer that shifts to gold and green. Shown in 3 coats, but I would wear it in 2 as the third coat doesn’t make any noticeable difference. This one looks amazing! It reminds me of the rustling leaves.

The Coven collection will be available on October 4th. All the new colors will have a $1 discount through 10/11. What do you think about this collection? Are there any you plan on picking up? I’ll admit that I was a little sad to see the lack of green in this collection, but the other shades are all really beautiful and fitting to the theme.
