Hey everyone! It’s been a long time! I missed February’s Polish Pickup because I was really lacking motivation in the past month. But I’m back with March’s swatches. This month the theme is “Slumber Party”, and I have 3 offerings to share. They are from LynB Designs, PI Colors, and Wildflower Lacquer. Interestingly, they look pretty good together. Let’s dive in!
Slumber Party Shag｜LynB Designs
First up, from LynB Designs, Slumber Party Shag is a rusty base with intense indigo to purple to pink shifting shimmer. Jennalyn was inspired by Light as a Feather, which is one of her favorite games to play at sleepovers and on her childhood best friend’s basement carpet. I love the warm base of this! If you have a yellow skintone like me, this will give a great your-nails-but-better look. Shown in 3 coats.

Night Terrors.000｜PI Colors
Next up we have an offering from a new-on-here brand, PI Colors. Night Terrors.000 is a color shifting dark blue gray base featuring a strong purple to red to pink shimmer with a gold hint. Trish was inspired by Christopher Pike’s book Slumber Party. This is my first try of the brand. It has a slightly thicker formula, and the opacity is great. Opaque in 2 coats.

Paws Over People｜Wildflower Lacquer
Lastly, from Wildflower Lacquer, Paws Over People is a purple leaning indigo base with pink to gold shifting microflake shimmer and holographic flakes. Taylor used her pack of furbebes as inspo. Please note that the shimmer may cause staining. For those familiar with WFL, this is basically if Toebeans, Toebeans, Toebeans, Tobe-ean (limited edition from January 24′) and Pawsitively Fabulous (auction polish from 2022) had a baby. Opaque in 2 coats.

These beauties will be available for pre-order 3/1 (Fri) 11am EST to 3/4 (Mon) 11:59pm EST on Polish Pickup’s website. The site will be up for wishlisting sometime on Wednesday of the launch week. Polish Pickup is the largest monthly collaboration for indie nail polishes. Based in the US, the shop opens first Friday to the following Monday of every month for pre-order, featuring mostly indie nail polishes, as well as some indie jewelries, lifestyle items, wax melts, nail cares, bath and body cares, etc. The monthly shop will have different theme each month, submitted and voted by Facebook group members three month ahead, based on which all the brands will create a shop exclusive item.
